Eternal Realms comes with a bunch of builder utilities. These are detailed below:

Builders

Edit Items and Edit World Items

There are two buttons here and we automatically separate them into items that can be picked up and items that can't be picked up. The first one, 'Edit Items', is used to create and edit pickable items only. The second, 'Edit World Items', is to edit the unpickable items in the world. These will likely include things like trees, furniture, etc... which are essentially items that can't be picked up.

Edit Mobiles

Create and edit the characteristics of all of the mobiles in the game. This is not for placing the mobiles in a map, but to describe what constitutes each one of them. For more information about what a mobile is, see Mobile.

Edit Map

Here you can edit the game's maps in tiles. The maps are the places where your players will appear. This is a very important builder.

Edit Tiles

Create or edit tiles. At this point, editing a tile consists of matching up a name with a picture. For example, "Grass" and a green grass image. In short, tiles are the images that represent the surfaces people walk over. For more information, see Tile.

Fractal Map Generator

Using the power of mathematics, we can generate new landscapes automatically. The fractal landscape generator does some Mandleblot fractals and basically just makes very nice looking continents, islands, and mountain ranges. Be careful when using the fractal map generator, as it replaces the entire world with the new world that it generates.

The maps it generates loop from north to south and from east to west. At this point, the complexity of the maps it generates are limited to... basically the height of the ground (ocean, shoreline, grass, hills, mountain).

Database Deleter

This tiny utility can be used to clear the database of everything; tiles, mobiles, items, and more. This will ensure that if you break something, you'll be able to at least clear the database and get it working again.

Test Iso Images, Test Player Images, Test Map Tile Images, and Test Pixel Drawer

These are just for looking at the pretty pictures we can make, to see if they appear just like we need them. Nothing too fancy.
