The World of Omega Earth
Set far in the future on the colony planet of Mater, OE takes place 256 years after the initial settlement. Mysterious circumstances soon after the colony was founded rendered most high technology inoperative, and drove the settlers to adopt alternate fuel sources and technologies.
At the same time, many people began to notice a change in themselves, and in their environment. Something that could only be described as magic then entered the world and soon became relatively commonplace. Now people take the existence of magic for granted and steam power reigns supreme.
